Topics Covered:

1. Approval of Minutes: The October 13th EESAC minutes were approved as read.
2. Welcomed Ms. Joann Welch as the new UTD Steward and acknowledged Ms. Hampton who graciously agreed to remain the recording secretary in a non-voting capacity
3. 2009-2010 School Improvement Plan Review: Ms. Klein, Ms. Quintero, and Ms. Hampton attended a training on Nov. 9th in preparation for the mid-year review. Interim II will be administered Dec. 15-16 in grades 3,4, and 5.
4. Title I: Ms. Klein is using Title I funds to hire an hourly teacher to assist in the Science Lab and other related issues. Title I funds have also been used to purchase supplemental math supplies for the overall school curriculum.
5. School Operations: Broadmoor Elementary will not be evaluated this year for any boundary changes and therefore will not be required to attend the ABC meetings.
6. Curriculum Issues: Interim I results have been published and data is being used to drive instruction in grades 3,4, and 5. The results were good, but many areas need improvement. Data meetings are taking place on a regular basis. Student retention of curriculum being taught and tested is our focus.
7. Budget: We are still awaiting the final budget decision on EESAC funds which will be available. Our first priority will be to purchase Accelerated Reading Quizzes and materials for the school.
8. New Business: The 21st Century Community Learning Center is a great success. Attendance has been superior and the Easter Seals program continues to broaden its scope of activities.
9. Meeting adjourned at 4:20 pm.
