Topics Covered:

1. Approval of Minutes: The Feb. 9th minutes were approved as read.
2. 2009-2010 School Improvement Plan: The EESAC committee reviewed the School Improvement Plan end of the year template. All EESAC members were provided copies of the template to review. Grade levels are collaborating to discuss input for the SIP end of the year review. Grade Level chairs will bring this information to the next EESAC meeting in April.
3. Title I: All supply funds have been utilized for flashcards in grades K-five. All Title I money left is being used for personnel. Broadmoor will keep our interventionists and science lab para as long as the money lasts.
4. School Operations: Testing is taking place for the next nine days. Attendance has been excellent so far. The sewer project continues.
5. Curriculum Issues: There were no curriculum issues to discuss.
6. Budget: The web based Accelerated Reading program has been ordered using EESAC funds plus $600 from general school funds. This program allows access to all AR quizzes. Next year the cost will be less because only the site license must be purchased. Hopefully, EESAC will approve this purchase again next year.
7. New Business: Students will begin writing their books on March 22nd for our annual Young Authors showcase. An evening to share our books with parents has been scheduled for May 5th.
8. Our next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, April 13th at 2:30 pm.
Today's meeting was adjourned at 3:30 pm
