Topics Covered:

1. Approval of Minutes: The May 11th EESAC minutes were approved as read.
2. School Improvement Plan (SIP) 2010-2011: Ms. Quintero has sent in the first part of the SIP (2010-11) and we are waiting for corrections, if any. She is working on the second part which will be entered soon.
3. School Operations: None
4. Curriculum Issues: Everything has be ordered for the Interactive Smart Board Technology Grant. Some items have be received, most are on their way and will be installed this summer. We have approximately $900 left.
5. Budget: Broadmoor's EESAC Budget for 2010-11 will be $2,202.75.
6. Title I: Broadmoor will only be required to create and collect one "compact" for the next school year. It appears that even Title I is streamlining its paperwork. Title I funds for next year will be used to purchase personnel, with a tiny amount earmarked for supplies. Our Title I budget for next year is $80,000 less than the previous year.
7. New Business:
a. As of today, there are no plans to have the "Saturday Open House" prior to the opening of school.
b. Third grade test scores are wonderful! The remainder of the test scores are very slow in arriving; however, we are optimistic that 4th and 5th grade scores will be equally wonderful.
c. Target donated $500 for library books this week, and our Media Specialist has already placed the order.
d. Barbara Hampton stated that since she is no longer a standing member of EESAC, she would like to resign as Recording Secretary. She asked for a volunteer who is a member, all declined. Ms. Klein stated that she would take care of this issue at our next scheduled meeting.
8. Following a call for "Questions, Comments, and Concerns," the meeting was adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
