Topics Covered:

1. Approval of Minutes: The EESAC minutes were updated and will be approved once the changes have been made. The roster was updated accordingly.
2. School Improvement Plan (SIP) 2010-2011: Please see Ms. Amparo Quintero, Reading Coach.
3. School Operations: No items.
4. Curriculum Issues: Interventions have been adjusted.
5. Budget: Ms. Klein will investigate to see if the funds that were encumbered last year to purchase the web-based version of Accelerated Reader rolled over to this year’s budget. Broadmoor was not able to finalize the purchase of this software due to licensing issues. Additionally, Ms. Klein will not be replacing the Title I Hourly position. She would, however, like to use these monies to purchase four (4) transmitters for the Student Response Systems in order to maximize the number of responders throughout the school. Currently, each set contains 32 responders.
If there are funds, Ms. Klein has two options for securing the transmitters for our school:
Plan A: Use the “roll-over” money to purchase the transmitters.
Plan B: Obtain funding from a colleague.
6. Title I: Ms. Peña, Hourly Title I Teacher, will conduct interventions. Parent input on PIP plan was discussed and the need to use funds to purchase an English language acquisiton technolgy program was introduced. EESAC voted unanimously to obtain prices for the program.
7. New Business: No items.
8. Following a call for "Questions, Comments, and Concerns," the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
