4. Response to Intervention (RtI)/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates:
The focus is currently on intermediate grades. Ms. Nichole Bhagwandin, Primary Reading Coach is helping our second graders prepare for intermediate grades. She will also be assisting with intermediate grades.
Congratulations to all teachers for being on target with On-going Progress Monitoring during Interventions.
5. Open Forum/Discussion
School Operations: Due to illness, we are shorthanded with the custodial staff. We need help from classroom teachers. Please do not send the snacks out of the classroom. If there are spills or clean up issues in the bathrooms or classrooms, or hallways, please notify the front office as soon as possible so that the custodial staff can respond. The staff will be concentrating their efforts on the many bathrooms throughout the campus, picking up trash, etc. We can assist by ensuring that bathroom breaks are taken as a group and are monitored by a teacher. We can avoid unnecessary cleanups if the students are monitored. Have the students check the bathroom and report if there are any issues immediately.
Third and Fourth grade are strongly urged to create a schedule to take the students (as a group). Please schedule only one teacher at a time and only once in the day.
Curriculum Issues: no issues.
