Topics Covered:
1. Welcome/Introductions/Attendance: Attendance was taken.
Ms. Crystel Moore, Alternate Union Steward was in attendance. Ms. Joanne Welch was attending professional development off campus.
2. . Minutes from the January meeting were reviewed and approved. Small typo needs to be corrected.
3. SIP Review/Updates:
We worked directly with the Department of Education on how to complete the form. It was condensed to their specifications using our information. Changes were made during this meeting and the SIP was approved at this time.
4. Response to Intervention (RtI)/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates:
The Leadership Team meets every Friday. Progress and instruction is being constantly monitored. Superintendent Alberto Carvalho is pleased with Broadmoor Elementary School. The administration of this school is also pleased with teacher’s hard work.
5. Open Forum/Discussion
School Operations: no issues.
Curriculum Issues: no issues.
6. Budget: Suggestions for EESAC spending should be talked about amongst the grade levels. These monies must be spent on the entire school. Please take this into consideration as you draft your wish list. Second grade has submitted a wish list: measuring tape, measuring sticks, “Good Readers”, and “Good Habits” books with CDs.

9. Comments/Concerns:
Kindergarten: none
First Grade: none
Second Grade: Students and teachers are complaining that older students from Lissette Bus are being unruly. Some are calling names to students and teachers.
Ms. Klein will speak to the bus driver about this issue.
On another note, Ms. Klein would also like to point out that Ms. Rodriguez and other staff members have really done a wonderful in organizing the dismissal for the bus students.
