1. Welcome/Introductions/Attendance: Attendance was taken.

2. . Minutes from the March meeting were reviewed and approved.

3. SIP Review/Updates:

Please meet with your respective grade levels prior to next month’s meeting in order to discuss goals and strategies for the 2014-2015 school year. This includes Pre-K through Grade 5. The grade levels will provide revisions to current information.

4. Response to Intervention (RtI)/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates:

SST meetings are taking place. The window to submit applications is Friday, April 11, 2014.

5. Open Forum/Discussion

School Operations: no issues.

Curriculum Issues:
Concern (Quintero): There is a concern about the Author’s Book Fair. Who will be responsible for submitting, binding and editing the books? Will these books be written throughout the content areas?
Answer (Klein): Homeroom teachers will be responsible for binding and editing. Reading teachers will work with students. A memorandum will be forthcoming with more information.

The Educational Transformation Office (ETO) will be focusing on the primary grades and 3rd grade Writing after FCAT testing is over.

6. Budget: Reminder: Suggestions for EESAC spending should be talked about amongst the grade levels. These monies must be spent on the entire school. Please take this into consideration as you draft your wish list.
