February 5, 2015
Meeting opened at 4:30

1. Welcome by Ms. Q. – Attendance attached
2. Minutes approved
3. SIP Review Updates: Ms. Rodriguez said we are meeting our goals and utilizing our strategies
4. Rtl/Leadership Team Reviews /Updates: Ms. Rodriguez gave an update on the referral packets. To date, 30 packets have been submitted. She will not be accepting any more referrals this year. What is new this year is that all retainees in third grade this year will pass to the next grade level.
5. Open Forum : School Operations: Ms. Rodriguez stated there will be changes in testing this year. 5th grade students will be taking Reading and Math Assessments on the computer. She will address this and come up with a schedule for testing.
6. Budget reviews: (No updates)
7. Title I - Ms. Rosario said the audit was fantastic thanks to everyone.
- Any extra funds were used to purchase additional computers.

8. New Business: -Ms. Rosario stated that Walmart wants to partner with Broadmoor Elementary School.
- Dr. Rivera said she will forward information from Jiffy Lube to Dr. Riaz as a potential partner.
- Ms. Rodriguez stated that Broadmoor will begin Saturday school for 4th and 5th grade students for Reading and Math. Selected students will be added from 3rd grade. ETO has provided the lessons for the curriculum.
- The Honor Roll Ceremony will be held on Monday.
9. Comments/Concerns: There was a concern of time students are required to spend on I-Ready. Currently, students have to finish a lesson before they log off. This time is interfering with other classroom work. Ms. Q stated that a representative from I-Ready will be at our school, and we will receive more information regarding this matter.
