SIP Review/Updates
The goals and strategies in the Action Plan are being implemented in the classrooms as evidenced by the administrative team.
RtI (Response to Intervention):
Please note that the deadline for submitting packets to Ms. Maria Y. Rodriguez is November 30, 2015. The team has met with teachers individually as well.
School Operations – none.
Curriculum Issues
The District Mid-Year assessment will be administered beginning December 1, 2015. Ms. Maria Y. Rodriguez held a testing meeting for those teachers/staff who are test administrators or proctors. Please refer to the packet for procedures, schedules, and all other testing information.
Instructional Review: Members of the administrative team along with curriculum support specialists conducted an instructional review last week. The results of the review will be shared with teachers during their common planning sessions.
Budget Updates:
Update on the request for use of EESAC funds to purchase the following:
Incentives for Accelerated Reader (A.R.) and iReady are on order.
Toner for teacher printers is also on order.
Coolers – TBA per PTSA.
Purchase: Interventionist position. Ms. Lenora Gamble has joined the Broadmoor team and will start working tomorrow. Ms. Amparo Quintero, Reading Coach will redistribute the groups. All grades will have new intervention groups except fourth grade.
Purchase: Bilingual Content Curriculum (Spanish) teacher position. Ms. Damaris Torres has joined the Broadmoor team.
