Introductions/ Welcome:
New attendees: N-A
Handouts: meeting minutes, agenda, Review Bylaws/Roster.

SIP Review/Updates
During common planning we are reinforcing the SIP. (Quintero)

RTI/Leadership Teams Reviews/Updates
We are still looking at students’ referral packets. Our upcoming focus is to have our coaches provide support to our lowest 25% and our bubble students. (Riaz)

Open Forum/ Discussions
School operations/ Curriculum issues
We will continue to receive visits throughout the year to see the correlation between the Action Plan and teaching. (Riaz)

Budget and Personnel Reviews/Updates
We haven’t used our EESAC budget yet. We usually purchase things like agendas, toner, composition books and awards. We intend to use $3,600 to purchase those materials. (Riaz)
Can we purchase leveled readers for intervention? (Jerry)
We are looking into buying consumable intervention books for next year. (Riaz)

Title I
On Tuesday this week we had a Title I audit. We were told the Title I Report was stellar. In May we will ask parents for their opinion on what to do with Title I funds. The majority of our funds have been used to buy computers, paper and a math program for students. We would like to use some of the funds to extend our intervention program until the end of the year. Since we are no longer a lowest 300 school we are not required to have intervention until the end of the year but we would like to do so. (Riaz)

New Business
We are going to be in a partnership with Royal Caribbean. They plan to beautify our school and Madison Middle school. For example, the district will remove the trees and stumps we currently have and Royal Caribbean will provide new trees. They will hire professional contractors to set up the school for their workers to beautify it. They would like to receive suggestions from us on what things they can beautify. We are looking forward to this. (Riaz)

Comments/ Concerns:
We would like to set up the cutoff date of March 23rd for the superintendents 5k walk shirts. Even though you are not going to go we would like the staff to vote for the design of the shirt.
Based on how many people are participating we will be able to see the cost of the shirts. That is why need time to quote the price of the shirts. (C. Moore)

We would like to facilitate massage services for the teachers during testing season. The price will be about a dollar per minute and the masseuse is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (C. Moore)
We will look into. We will be able to do that before or after school. (Riaz)

We have been working on an In-Kind donation letter to provide snacks and refreshments for the Superintendent’s 5K race. It has been approved by the administration. We have submitted it to Walmart and Winn-Dixie. We will see if they will sponsor us. (C. Moore)

Motion to adjourn (Quintero)
