SIP Review/Updates
Goals and strategies
We are continuing to look at our teaching practices and reinforce best practices during common planning. (Quintero)

i-Ready
We have made an improvement of 11% in ELA, 6%Math and 17% science. We need to continue our hard work in the classrooms. (Riaz)
We are on our way to a “B”! (Jerry)

Math Topic Assessments-
We plan to meet during math common planning and keep the teachers updated of their students’ performance on Topic Assessments. (Riaz).

FSA Weekly Assessments
We are monitoring grades 2-5 in the Weekly e-Assessment Tracker spreadsheet as a school. (Riaz)

Professional Development opportunities
On March 24th we will host a Promethean ClassFlow Training. (Riaz)
I sent out an email to k-2 teachers to inform them about the upcoming an i-Ready workshops. (Quintero)

RTI/Leadership Teams Reviews/Updates
We are still looking at students’ referral packets. April 21st is the last day to submit packets. (Riaz)

Open Forum/ Discussions
School operations
There are contractors pressure cleaning and putting primer on the walls. They will not be here during testing. This is to prepare for the Royal Caribbean Give Day. (Riaz)

Curriculum issues
We are under testing season; therefore, we are not allowed to send teachers out for professional development. We must have it in house. (Riaz)
Will testing interfere with our lunch schedule? (Jerry)
No. We will continue out regular lunch schedule. (Riaz)

Budget and Personnel Reviews/Updates
Expenditures of EESAC Funds.
We plan to purchase $1,000 in agendas for primary and intermediate grades, $500 in toner, $600 in awards for the end of the year Awards Ceremony and $1,500 in journals. This is a total of $3,600. (Riaz)

Title I
We are proud to announce that they will be honoring Ms. Eva Cruz at Parrot Jungle Island for Family of the Year. She has started an Earth Day initiative and is being recognized for her efforts. (Rosario)
She would like to come to do her presentation during Earth Day this year. We are looking forward to it. (Riaz)
