School Improvement Process (SIP)
Phase IV Mid-Year Review: We do not have to do anything further. We continue to monitor implementation of differentiated instruction, and attendance. -Mr. Lazo
Updates
iReady: Growth Monitoring was completed last week for both math and reading. -Ms. Quintero
Professional Development In-house: N/A
RtI/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates
We are completing RtI processes and should be finalizing cases in April. - Mr. Lazo
Open Forum/Discussion
School Operations: I have submitted a maintenance work order to repaint the interior of the school. We will be deep cleaning walls, floors, windows, and bathrooms this summer. The air conditioning has been restored in many rooms, but we still have rooms 102 and 202 pending. -Mr. Lazo
Curriculum Issues: Crunch-time is currently taking place for grades 3-5 for reading. Math crunch-time will take place upon return of spring break. SAT-10 for grades K-2, FSA reading for grade 3, and FSA writing for grades 4 and 5 will take place during the first week of April. Chapter books and project-based learning will be asked to be implemented after testing. -Mr. Lazo
Budget Reviews/ Updates
The first budget review conference , which is preliminary, will take place in May. I don't foresee any budgetary issues. - Mr. Lazo

During the last faculty meeting, it was voted that Ms. Suzanne Herrera will be the office manager for the next school year. -Ms. Quintero
Ms. Grisales sent an e-mail to parents of ESE students , where they must fill out an ESE Parent Survey.- Mr. Lazo
