The minutes for the August 17, 2006 meeting were approved.

EESAC accepted the 2 proposals that will be submitted to the staff on September 13, 2006, for the final vote.
The School Improvement Plan was discussed for the 2006-2007 academic school year. EESAC members agreed to move away from Plan Do Study Act and implement with fidelity the Continuous Improvement Model.
This year the School Improvement Plan includes Reading Plus and Voyager Math as strategies for Reading, Writing, Math, Science, return on investment, technology. EESAC will promote increased parent involvement, safety, and discipline with emphasis student safety and discipline.
EESAC was complimented for encouraging students to keep their shirts tucked in.

Reading Plus needs to be implemented and staff development will take place on 9/26/06 and 9/28/06.

The music teacher requested music stands for music concert and EESAC members approved the use of funds for music stands.
