2. Welcome to our 2nd EESAC meeting of the 2008-2009 school year

3. Update by Principal
a. Informed committee that the school was nominated as a Title I Distinguished School for the 2007-2008 school year
b. FCAT Tutoring is being offered to all students in grades 3-5; beginning in January 2009 and ending in March 2009 (3 times per week)
c. Due to budget constraints we were unable to open up the after school tutoring program to 2nd grade
d. Lunch pavillion is expected to be completed in 1 to 2 weeks
e. Registration for the 2009-2010 school year will open in May 2009, our projected enrollment is approximately 500-525 students

4. Parent comments or concerns

a. Members informed the committee that they are pleased with the new security measures in place
