a. High performing charter school
4th graders ranked 2nd in District and 6th in the State in FCAT Writing
5th graders ranked 2nd in district in FCAT Math
5th graders ranked 4th in district in FCAT Science

c. Current enrollment at 634
d. Early intervention program: for qualifying students in grades 2nd through 5th
2nd grade will start on October 21, 2014
3rd-5th grade started on October 6, 2014
e. Open House took place on September 25, 2014
f. Mc.Donalds Back to School Night Fundraiser took place August 27, 2014
g. Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place on October 15, 2014
g. M.A.E. re-enters partnerships with the following organizations for the 2014-2015:

5. FCAT Rewards Updates
Recognition award funds for being an A school for the 2013-2014 school year: EESAC came to a consensus that FSRP funds will be distributed amongst all staff members as an incentive when funds are available.
Student reward for all students scoring a 3 or higher on all areas of the FCAT 2.0 will go on annual fieldtrip to Walt Disney World
Student reward for all students scoring a 5 or higher on all areas of the FCAT 2.0 will be a $500.00 gift card
