1. Meeting was called to order and quorum was established.
2. Approved: Minutes from February 10th, 2020 EESAC Meeting
3. Welcome to fifth EESAC meeting of the 19-20 school year.
4. Updates by Principal
a. Spring Testing Updates
i. Due to COVID-19 all state testing have been canceled by the FLDOE
b. Graduations
i. Kindergarten Graduation was on May 27th and was streamed live via YouTube
ii. Fifth Grade Graduation was on May 28th and was streamed live via YouTube
c. Career Day on May 29th via Zoom
5. FSA Rewards Update
a. Funds have been received by Operating Company and were distributed to all current employees.
b. Approved: Recognition award funds for being an “A” school for the 2018-2019. EESAC Committee came to a consensus; FSRP funds have been distributed amongst all current employees actively working at an Academica managed school at the time of disbursement.
c. SIP End of Year Review: The SIP was reviewed by all EESAC members.
i. Final PFEP was updated, reviewed, and approved by the district.
ii. Approved: Phase IV was reviewed and unanimously approved by all voting members.
d. End of Year Assurances:
i. Reviewed and completed the 2019-2020 EOY EESAC Assurances Checklist
ii. Approved: Scanned copy will be uploaded.
6. Updates by EESAC members
a. Elections:
i. The following members will resign from their EESAC position for the 20-21 school year:
1. Nailu Camos- Student Representative
2. Joaquin Cruz- Student Alternate
3. Jesus Estevez-Parent
4. Julian Camos-Parent
5. Monica Gonzalez-Alternate Parent
ii. A motion was made to nominate the following staff/parents/students to the 20-21 EESAC Committee
1. Isaac Castro- 20-21 Student Representative
2. Lola Fernandez– 20-21 Student Alternate
3. Ivan Florez-Parent
4. Laora Fishman-Parent
5. Sky Romero-Alternate Parent
iii. Approved: all nominees were unanimously elected by all voting members to serve on the 2020-2021 EESAC Committee.
