The previous minutes from the April 16, 2008 meeting were read by Mrs. Mack-Freeman. Changes will be proposed to the bylaws at the beginning of the next school year.
The end of the year SIP was reviewed in detail and Mrs.l House made amotion to approve. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Hildenbrand. The group unanimously approved the SIP.
EESAC approved $2,999.00 for student incentives. Items that were purchased by EESAC were student T-shirts, Saturday school snacks and a grill. EESAC also approved $1,776.00 for magazine subscriptions. EESAC has committed $446.00 for Ms. Conroy's travel reimbursement and the future travel for Mrs. House, Mrs. Knowles-Tucker and Mr. Bueno to attend the reading conference in Orlando.
The 2008-2009 budget for EESAC will be cut from $10.00 per student to $5.00 per student.
EESAC has $7,649.00 available. The $573.00 leftover from incentives will be returned to EESAC.
A special "Thank-you" was given to Mrs. Judy Cartwright who has attended every EESAC meeting and participates as the parent representative.
The motion to adjourn was given by Mrs. House and seconded by Mrs. Cartwright.
