The meeting was called to order at 2:55 p.m. In attendance were: Edma Clerizier, Mark Gottfried, Melanie Mann, Joyce Mercado, Berkis Aguirre, Patti Stauffer, Douglas Tisdahl, Ashley Toussaint, Veronica Martin, Peter Sapanaro, Valeska Doret, Judith Dubowsky, Zuzel Gomez and Yvone Hart

OLD BUSINESS
The sign for the new digital sign in front of the school has been approved and will be installed.


NEW BUSINESS
The following teachers requested supplies for their educational needs: Trish Miller, Bridgette Mooney, Ernestine Griffin, Amber Bloc, Alex Harris, Alejandro Benedi, Deborah Blodinger, Voleska Doret, Meagan Nearing, Dabel Isidor and Cathy Oshrain.


Ms. Oshrain requested a door light for her class. Mr. Fontana agreed to pay for it through his account. A requisition needs to be submitted. Ms. Oshrain wanted funding for an interpreter, funding for a field trip, software and two computers. Mr. Fontana made a motion to give Ms. Oshrain $1000 to use as she sees fit as well as two computers. The committee voted in favor of the $1000.

Mr. Sapanaro requested funds for state and national robotic competition ($5,000) and a robotic kit ($6,000) which totals up to $11,000. Mr. Fontana agreed to pay for the robotic kit ($6000) out of his funds. The committee agreed to grant $5000 to robotics for state and national competition.

Veronica Martin requested $800 for Career Day Expo. The committee agreed and granted the $800.

Ms. Eisenberg requested $600 for Differentiated Instruction workshop in Orlando the committee agreed and granted the funds.

Melanie Mann requested $500 to ship items and letters to soldiers in Iraq and the committee denied the request. Funding was secured through an independent source.
