- Introductions

- Review of minutes from last meeting
Approved

- Review of Budget
Current Budget $5,583.96
Question about $250 removed from EESAC.
• Resolved money was deposited into EESAC and removed accordingly.
Question about AP funds
• have schools/teachers received money for students who passed AP
• district wide, no one has received money

- Old Business
Suggestions and motion to review by-laws by Ms. Williams
Some misgivings about Ms. Mann’s request to ship packages to soldiers.
• Amendment for previous minutes shows that Ms. Mann was funded independently, EESAC didn’t grant funds.
• Motion to revise minutes, passed

New Business
• EESAC committee took part in an survey from the district
• To gather into to enhance the strategic planning process
• Motion to have Ms. Williams represent EESAC on the survey, trusting that she will accurately represent our opinions.
• Ms. Martin – explanation of Career day activities:
- Speaker identification tags
- 70 professionals will be in the building
- Students allowed back in, only by invitation
- All activities should be ended by 2:30
- Concern of low attendance
- 11th and 12th grade students and members of clubs invited
- How to entice students – Community service, extra credit, food
- Send Gems to English classes to explain program to students

• Request from Ms. Ross for funds for FCAT snacks
- snacks: cereal, breakfast bars, chips, pretzels and popcorn
- also natural juice packets & napkins
- Mr. Fontana will buy from special purpose account
