The meeting was called to order at 2:55 p.m. In attendance were Mark Gottfried, Marcus Eugene, Vanessa Diambois, Patti Stauffer, Raymond Fontana,Edma Clerizier,Veronica Martin,Trevor Harris, Carlos Sardinas, Ashley Toussaint.

Review of last minutes:
Approved

Review of Budget:
As of 2/22/07 EESAC has 8,274.05. $3,000 must be encumbered for the incentive (give-aways for FCAT Saturday Academy). The balance will then be $5,274.05.

Old Business:

Amendment to minutes dated 9/28/06 in reference to wording for FCAT Saturday Academy. Should read purchase food and incentives for students for FCAT Saturday Academy. Motion to revise minutes passed.

EESAC committee reviewed the EESAC survey submitted on-line by Ms. Williams. Committee agrees with responses submitted.

New Business:

School Improvement Plan Waiver:

EESAC committee voted on the SIP waiver for the 2007-2008 school year.. Mr. Fontana states how much the school needs the 4x4 schedule to accommodate the many needs of NMB students. The 4x4 has allowed students to take all of their required courses, in addition to taking electives. The new schedule is flexible and allows for students to take 8 classes. Motion unanimously approved

FCAT quickly approaching. This Saturday is the last FCAT Saturday Academy. Attendance to date is 300 students. Ms. Williams has asked that staff come on Saturday to support students and participate in the give-aways.

FCAT Testing is Monday, February 26-March 9, 2007. Parents will be called using Connect-Ed.


The meeting was adjourned at 3:55p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for March 22, 2007 at 2:45 p.m.
