A. Review and Approval of Prior Minutes

Minutes were reviewed and approved by consensus.


B. School Improvement Plan (SIP) —Administration
Mr. Ridore stated that no updates had been made to the SIP since our previous meeting

C. Funding Requests:
Mrs. V. Martin presented SPED Proposal for Upgrade of RAM for 10 computers
Total Cost: $438.90 Approved by consensus

•Mr. Luzardo—Ink & Paper for Poster printer; HPz5200 Poster Printer: one of each of the 12 cartridges and a roll of paper for the printer. It was suggested that he charge more for making posters for the staff and clubs, therefore the money can be used to purchase more supplies for the printer.
Presented by Mr. Luzardo and approved by consensus.

Mrs. Brown-Rose clarified that the approval of Ms. Montensino’s proposal was duly noted in the December 3, 2015 minutes.

IV. Reports & Updates

A. Students: SGA/Senior Class (Chedeline Apollon and Amoi Jones)

The following SGA sponsored activities are in the Planning Stage:
Annual Light it Up Blue Campaign to Celebrate World Autism Awareness, Is on April 2; Earth Day Celebration, Prom and Graduation Reveal.
Grad Bash, April 15, 2016
Freshmen Class: Will have a JAM (Pep Rally Friday, March 18, 2016); 96% students attendance for the Writing FSA
Junior Class: Ring Ceremony April 19 and Prom Do’s and Don’ts Fashion Show April 17, 2016
Sophomore Class: In preparation for the Youth Fair is selling short sleeve shirts, Youth Fair Field Trip April 7, 2016

B. PTSA & Parents; Parent Meeting, March 17, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the Parent Resource Room; last day for scholarship applications.


C. Community: Mini College Fair. April 13, 2016 in the Media Center
Mr. Luzardo is working with C-Tech program with Miami Dade College for students seeking/interested in a career in animation and/or digital design. Students have visited the MDC North Campus


D. Faculty & Staff: Brown-Rose, in preparation for testing FSA Packets are being sent home so that the students will have more opportunities to practice for the Reading Administration of the FSA. Reading teachers will give incentives and the Reading Coach will provide $5 gift cards to students with the highest percent correct on the Spring FSA Packet.
