Meeting called to order at 3:09pm by the Chair. Mr. Montalvan welcomed everyone to the meeting and moved forward with the agenda.

Approval of the minutes

Mrs. Martin motioned to accept the minutes with necessary corrections; seconded by Dr. Davis. Vote passed.

 PFEP survey posted online.
 Still in the process of hiring a CIS person
 Resource Center available for parents

 SGA – winter spirit week
 Key Club – community service hours via zoom, meetings weekly
 Drama – finalizing virtual production for release prior to winter break

Community
Dr. Currie
 MDC accepting registration for spring semester. Closes on the18th and reopens on January 4th, 2021. Incentives for discounted tuition.
 Upward bound last Saturday session 12/12. Continuing virtually. Calendar forthcoming
 Thank you to Principal Milliken for having me as “Principal of the Day”.
 Hiring a former NMB student as an Upward Bound Tutor (Jason Ware)

• Graduation – 17/18 cohort (2021 graduates) - 34%
• Graduation – 16/17 cohort (2020 graduates) - 94%
• works towards school grade for 20/21 school year.

All ETO schools – NMB is in 3rd place
Acceleration – NMB is in 1st place in ETO schools
Assessments –
Algebra I - 81% tested; 30% correct
Geometry – ??? Tested; 30% average correct
US History – 81% tested; 71% average correct

UTD – No updates

Next meeting date – Thursday, January14, 2021 at 3pm. Admin should be in the building for the signatures.
