The following members were present at this meeting:

This meeting was called to order at 2:45 p.m.

1.Wendi Werther brought up the newspaper situation again. She is concerned about the payment being made to the Miami Herald for newspapers that they promised us for free.

2.Mr. Harris showed concern regarding the status of the reading time program. This concern centered around the fact that students who have already passed the FCAT are still doing the same activities as those students who have passed. He suggested that we have literary committee to discuss ways to solve this problem.

3.The school’s web site needs to be updated, especially to include the Academies. Everyone with news add is to have students write articles or see Ms. Miller.

4.The by-laws are now updated.

5.Ms. Williams will research how much we have in the EESAC account

6.The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 09, 2004 at 2:45 p.m.
