Meeting was called to order at 2:46 pm by the acting Vice-Chair, Mrs. Veronica Martin. Mrs. Martin welcomed everyone to the second meeting of the 2021-2022 school year, and those in attendance to introduce themselves.



EESAC Budget - Remaining Balance $2,851.06



Motion to Approval of the minutes from September 15,2021 by Veronica Martin and seconded by Michelle Currie Williams.
Funding Request-Mr. Milliken

Requested the amount of $2,999 for student incentives for the year. For items such as gift cards, treats

Motion to approve by Brianna Ash and seconded by Ashlene Capers.

Review/Approval of School Improvement Plan (SIP) Phase I & II-Mr. Billy Ridore, AP

Mr. Ridore provided information for the change that was added to the SIP by the district. Data from the 2020-2021 is now a part of the SIP. Title I Parent Compact also included. This document shares promise from NMB as well as parents. Everything else remains the same. SIP is available in English, Spanish and Creole.

Motion to approve SIP by Brianna Ash. Motion second by Brian Davis

Administration
 Open house happening today. This is an opportunity for parents to learn about the curriculum and programs offered at the school. We also have provided the link for a virtual experience.
 Encourage everyone to follow COVID safety protocols. We have had more cases from home then from the school.
 If students need sanitizers for home, they can ask their teachers and we will provide them. We do have a limited supply but are willing to give them out.
 Football team heading to Lee County, Georgia Sept. 30th for a game.
 Volleyball team is still going on
 Future Educators of America are in recruitment phase. They are looking to increase men of color participation. If you are interested please speak to Ms. Hutchinson in room 704.
 Students that are quarantined do have access to be apart of class via zoom. However, teacher interaction is not a requirement.
