II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESAC Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 3:30pm on September 15, 2020, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA) via Zoom Meeting.

IV. Approval of Minutes from May 12, 2020
- Mr. Feiler made a motion to approve the minutes, and Ms. Feiler seconded the motion.
- Minutes from May 12, 2020 were approved unanimously.

V. Opening of Schools Update
- ISPA started the school year using Microsoft Teams and luckily did not have as many issues as other schools.
- School site is being prepared for the return of students to the building.
- Signs are up throughout the school indicating to keep a safe distance.
- Plexiglass was installed at the security post in the downstairs lobby and in the main office.
- All non-essential equipment and/or furniture has been removed from the classrooms to allow desks to be spaced 3 feet apart.
- Taped will be placed on the floor and walls to indicate the direction students should be walking.
- Lunch time is still being discussed; a possibility is to use the parking lot for seniors.

VI. School Improvement Plan 2020-2021 / EESAC By-Laws/Revisions
- Areas of focus: empowering teachers, communication with stakeholders, elective academics, data driven instruction, data driven decision making, and English Language Learners strategies.
- School Improvement Plan Phase 1 & Phase 2 was emailed to EESAC members by Ms. Alamo.
- Mr. Feiler pointed out a grammatical error that has been noted and will be fixed when SIP is unlocked next.
- Ms. Harrison made a motion to approve the SIP, and Mr. Feiler seconded the motion.
- SIP 2020-2021 was approved unanimously.
- No by-laws revisions needed at this time
- No composition waiver requests needed at this time
- Dr. Blanco will verify EESAC Roster
- 2020-2021 SIP Signature Page will be completed, signed by appropriate individuals and submitted to district.

VII. Open House – Pending
- When Open House will be held and if it will be virtual or at the school site is still pending.

VIII. PTSA Update
- Currently PTSA is working with student uniforms. Parents are able to come in and purchase uniforms on Tuesday and Thursday, by appointment only.

IX. New Business
- There is no business at this time.

IX. Adjournment
- Ms. Ledo moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms. Feiler seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 4:20pm.
