II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESCA Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 2:30pm on May 11, 2021, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA).

IV. Approval of Minutes from February 17, 2021
- Ms. Harrison made a motion to approve the minutes, and Mr. Famadas seconded the motion.
- Minutes from February 17, 2021 were approved unanimously.

V. School Improvement Plan 2020-2021
- The SIP is in its last phase. It was given to all departments for suggestions and will be finalized by June 9, 2021.
- Cultural goals are based on current data and academic goals are based on data from 2018-2019. Academic reflections will be based on current mid-year data. We will continue to improve upon School Culture at ISPA.
- We continue to strive for increases even if within a 1-2% variance.
- Ms. Feiler made a motion to approve the 2020-2021 SIP once reflections have been completed, and Ms. Ledo seconded the motion.
- Motion was approved unanimously.

VI. EESAC Budget
- All funds approved for transfer into internal funds for activities for students has been spent.
- EESAC’s remaining funds will carry over to the next year. The amount is about $1,500.00.

VII. End of Year Activities
- End-of-year awards will once again be virtual. A week-long event will take place on social media where all core subjects and electives will be recognized. This will take place the week of May 24, 2021.
- Graduation will be on June 3rd at 10 AM at the FIU Convocation Center. Students will only be given two tickets for attendees and those attending will need to fill out a pre-registration form online. All teachers will be present. The graduation will be live streamed via zoom for those not able to attend.

VIII. General Information
- Testing has been successful. Attendance has been good even though exams are not mandatory.

X. PTSA Update
- A new PTSA Board was elected. All current board members have students who are leaving the school this year.
- The PTSA Spirit Store is ready for incoming 9th grade students to begin purchasing their uniforms and sweatshirts.

XI. New Business
- Ms. Natalia Fajardo has been recognized by the district to receive a Values Matter award. It is a great honor and very well deserved.

XII. Adjournment
- Ms. Feiler moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Famadas seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:30pm.
