Topics Covered:
1- Available budget $3,566. Minutes from last meeting were read and approved.
2- Ammend the proposal made by Ms. Allen , at the beginning of the year, on behalf of the parents and students, requesting money for parental involvement and students incentives - $1,999. We are ammending the proposal to include food as part of the students' incentives. It was approved by all members.
3- A proposal is submitted by Mr. O. Ramos (Parent volunteer and Safety Patrol Advisor) to request money for the safety patrol (for items such as badges, awards, rain ponchos, patrol flags, and belts), for a total of $154.50. This is needed to increase security in the school. Mr. B. Gonzalez made a motion for approval. The proposal was approved by all members. Ms. Mingo talked about the good job Mr. Ramos and the security patrol were doing.
4- Ms. Mingo talked about the need to modified or enforced the uniform policy. We agreed that the policy shoud be enforced - Uniforms are Mandatory. No changes will be made to the policy. All teachers need to help to enforce the policy.
5- Ms. Brown talked about the planning of this year 5th grade graduation. Ms. Mingo said we should start planning this later in the year to see if students' behavior improves.
