1. August 21 EESAC minutes were approved as presented.
2. School Operations:
Our SIP has been completed and submitted to the region. There were two SIPs completed this year; an additional SIP for NCLB.
Areas added this year are:
Parental Involvement: To date we already have 206 PTA members
Enrichment: Book Club (Dr. Rivera), Music Appreciation AEP (Ms. Araica)
Discipline & Safety: Working on reducing the number of tardies
Health & Fitness: Fitness Gram, Field Day
Technology: V-Math Live, Reading Plus
3. Curriculum Issues: There were no burning curriculum issues to discuss.
4. Budget: EESAC voted to purchase a poster machine for use by the entire school.
5. New Business:
The PTA Spaghetti Dinner and Fall Fund Raiser kick-off will be next Tuesday, September 19th at 5:30 pm. Ms. Klein discussed the possibility of a "new teacher position" in the near future.
