Mrs.Belkin opened the meeting with a review of the September minutes and a motion to pass the minutes. A motion to pass the minutes came from the floor and a vote was taken.The minutes were accepted and passed without corrections. The second item on the agenda was discussed, which was an explanation of the NCLB report. Mrs. Belkin discussed the report with the committee specifically explaining each item as it pertained to Country Club Middle School.Each item of the report was discussed including a brief explanation of the performance of Country Club Midddle School students as compared to the performance of all students in the district and the state.
Mr. Bueno asked the committee to approve $2,999.00 from the EESAC budget to be used for Saturday School breakfasts, lunches, incentives, and food items. Additionally, Mr Bueno requested that the committee approve extra monies if items need to be purchased in the future for Saturday School. A motion from the floor was made to approve Mr Bueno's request for $2,999.00. A vote was taken and the motion was passed by the committee.
