Topics Covered

1. Approval of Minutes: The minutes were approved as read.
2. School Operations:
End of Year SIP Review: Mr. Rios went over all of the small changes that were recommended for our School Improvement Plan. The changes were minor details having to do with sentence structure, not content. All recommended changes were made and the SIP was approved by the region. Broadmoor's SIP has been entered on the State Template.
3. Curriculum Issues: Dibels and PPVT testing are complete. Scores will be forthcoming to teachers and grade groups as soon as Ms. Quintero meets with Ms. Klein to review the data. Cella testing is also completed.
4. Budget: We are still awaiting the official ordering of the poster machine; however, there is a hold on all POs at this time.
5. New Business:
a. End of the Year Awards Ceremonies will be on June 2nd, Primary at 9 am, and Intermediate at 6:30 pm. The ceremonies this year will be more of a program as opposed to just calling out names. Ms. Salley and her committee have been working very hard to make these upcoming awards ceremonies memorable.
b. The Broadmoor staff will not have a year end party this year due to the time restraints of only one post planning day.
c. Broadmoor's Citibank Family Tech Program will be highlighted by the Education Fund on Thursday May 29th for our last parent training in the media center.
6. The meeting was adjourned at 3:45 pm
