NEW BUSINESS: Mrs. King introduced Beverly Johnson (parent) to those members present.
Mrs. King then told everyone about the change to the dress code to be implemented by a new school board rule. Schools no longer will vote each three years for mandatory school uniforms. Schools will either continue to have dress code or they will not have one. EESAC will be the deciding body.
Mrs. Starling said she thought we should continue with the uniforms. Mrs. Johnson was in agreement.
Parental Involvement – Mrs. Johnson told us about some of the things she had learned when she went to a meeting for parents. One program she told us about was ACREE. Mrs. King suggested she come to COPE to see what we do here.
