Meeting was called to order at 8:22 a.m.

The minutes from the meeting of February 11, 2009 was approved with no changes.

OLD BUSINESS: A discussion was held about what to do with the remainder of the EESAC funds. Ms. Russell reminded everyone that money had been set aside for the Awards Day Ceremony.

NEW BUSINESS: Mrs. Ames addressed the subject of block scheduling waiver.

Mrs. Webb doesn’t anticipate any change in the schedule for next year or any changes to last years block schedule.

Everyone present agreed to no changes being made to the block scheduling.

Ms. Gilbert gave a progress report on the plans for the Senior Dinner. She said she is receiving gifts for the contents of the seniors’ gift bags and they will be distributed at the Senior Dinner event.

Ms. Gilbert said she will coordinate with Ms. Hadley to conduct an etiquette workshop for senior participants the week before the Senior Dinner.

Ms. Ames told us that the Reading Association of Dade County will donate a bib and book for each student and plans to do this each year hereafter.

The next meeting will be April 15, 2009 at 8:15 a.m. in the Media Center.
