4. Curriculum Issues:
a. Interventionists – Ms. Klein will update staff accordingly. The budget for these positions is in process. The October Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) will determine availability.

7. New Business:
a. Saturday Open House was not held this year. Ms. Klein would like for the committee to discuss with teachers the value of meeting with parents prior to the opening of school. She provided the committee with some suggestions for next schools year. They are as follows: (1) Saturday Open House for one hour, (2) Conduct Open House on the afternoon of the Friday before the first day of school. This issue will be taken to a vote by all concerned staff members at the end of this school year.
b. Target donated $500 to Broadmoor Elementary School for the purchase of books. Ms. Baluja, Media Specialist has placed the order.
c. Success Maker – Kindergarten classes will wait until after students are assessed, then implement the use of the software approximately in the second quarter. If students have continuing problems, please see Dr. Rivera about the use of Fast Forward. Intermediate grades should check with Ms. Hampton, Math Coach.
8. Following a call for "Questions, Comments, and Concerns," the meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
