The meeting was called to order at 4:06 p.m. by Sandra Ames in the Media Center of Dorothy M. Wallace COPE Center.
The minutes from the meeting of March 28, 2011 were read and approved with one correction.
Ms. Ames introduced the new EESAC member, Ms. Sheli Aguirre from Keiser University.
Ms. Ames also gave more information regarding Florida KidCare. She is the school liaison for Florida KidCare. She said the most the program would pay is $160.00 per child.
Discussion was held regarding the EESAC bylaws. We must have four meetings per year. Last year’s change was done to change the number of business partners. Our business partners are appointed, not elected. We must have a quorum present before a vote can be taken.
Mrs. Webb told those persons present that the SIP Review would be held at the next faculty meeting. We have to report back on what works and what doesn’t work by May 13th.
The next meeting will be held on May 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:26 p.m.
