2. Welcome to 5th EESAC meeting of the 2010-2011 school year
3. Update by Principal
a. Discussed 4th grade FCAT 2010-2011 Writing scores
i. 100 % of students scored at a 3 or above and 93 % of students scored at a 4 or above
b. Mater Academy School System received recommendation for accreditation from SACS/CASI
c. KG-2nd grade graduation ceremony will take place on May 16th, 2011 @ the Manuel Artime theater
d. 3rd- 5th grade graduation ceremony will take place on May 18th, 2011 @ the Manuel Artime theater
e. Collected and reviewed the completed End-of-Year Review Forms from grade level chair
f. Identifies 2011-2012 SIP writing Team
4. Update by EESAC members
a. Recommendations for the 2011-2012 SIP
i. School should provide additional opportunities for the parents to understand the curriculum in use at our school
ii. School should provide additional trainings for parents to inform them on school policies
b. Requested an EESAC Composition Waiver due to change in faculty, staff, and students for the 2011-2012 school year.
