Topics Covered

1. Approval of Minutes: Last month’s meeting minutes were reviewed and approved.
2. SIP Reviews/Updates: EESAC met as planned at last month’s meeting in order to review and approve the following documents as they relate to the School Improvement Plan (SIP):
a. Mid-Year Narrative Report
b. Form DA 2 – Differentiated Accountability Mid-Year Data Report
c. Form DA 1- 2011-2012 Correct School II Checklist

3. RtI/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates:
Crunch Time will commence next week. Diagnostic Testing will also be conducted next week.
Kindergarten has limited materials available to prepare the students for testing. Ms. Ferguson will attend an SST meeting next week where specific information might be provided to schools. The concepts that are being tested and the testing format (verbal or written) are not known at this time.
RtI: Remember that in order for a student to be referred, there must be adequate Voyager documentation. The student must also be failing his regular coursework across subjects.
4. School Operations: no new items.
5. Curriculum Issues:
Let’s get motivated. Everyone is working and should continue to work diligently so that our students can experience testing success.
FLDOE Test Design Summary will be redistributed so that teachers can use this information in planning their mathematics lessons.
One of the members had a question regarding testing procedures for next week. Ms. Ferguson will meet with Ms. Klein and information will be forthcoming.
7. Budget: Items purchased have been received and are in use.
8. Title I: Please do not discard materials from your room, unless you have Ms. Klein’s authorization to do so. The items may have been purchased with Title I monies
9. New Business: no new business items.
Following a call for "Questions, Comments, and Concerns," the meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
