a. Early Intervention Tutoring
i. After school tutoring has been extended for an additional day for 3rd-5th grade students until the FCAT (April)

i. Students have been invited to The South Beach Food and Wine Festival event hosted by Michelle Bernstein on Sunday, February 27th at Jungle Island

i. Student count went up by 1 student from last FTE
e. Parent Workshops
i. FCAT parent workshops were held for parents of students in grade 3-5
ii. SAT parent workshops will be held throughout the month of March for K-2ng grade
f. Pep-rally
i. Will take place on March 21st
g. Student recruitment
i. Mater Academy East will be meeting with Centro Mater’s Pre-K/Headstart parents for future enrollment in Mater Academy East for the 2012-2013 school year
ii. Mater East Middle met with our 5th grade parents for future enrollment into their middle school for the 2012-2013 school year
h. Security measures
i. The school will increase its security (which may incur additional costs to the school)
i. Mater Academy East raised $2,464.47 for Jump Rope for Heart
