3. Welcome to 1st EESAC meeting of the 2012-2013 school year
4. Update by Principal
a. A+ school for the 8th consecutive year
i. Designated a High Performing Charter School as per the FLDOE (Florida Department of Education)
ii.Selected to participate as mentor for Focus Schools identified by Charter Schools Operation
b. Current student enrollment at 630
i. We are still accepting waiting list applications for certain grade levels.
c. Early intervention program will begin on October 1, 2011 for qualifying students in grades 2nd-5th.
d. Recognition award funds for being an “A” school for the 2011-2012 school year
i. EESAC voted and agreed that funds will be distributed amongst all staff members as an incentive when funds are available.
ii. Student reward for all students scoring a 3 or higher on all areas of the FCAT 2.0 will go on annual fieldtrip to Walt Disney World
iii. Student reward for all students scoring a 5 or higher on all areas of the FCAT 2.0 will be a $500.00 gift card.
e. Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place on October 10, 2012.

b. EESAC roster approved by members
c. EESAC members voted and agreed to use EESAC funds to purchase afterschool tutoring materials
