Topics Covered

The meeting was called to order at 8:35 am. Quorum was not established. No voting on any issues was conducted. Only discussion. Everything discussed will be presented and approved at the next meeting.

The ELA Writing test was conducted and 556 students tested. The score for FSA Lang Arts will be a combined score of the Reading and writing.
-scores are important to graduation
-testing went very smoothly
-On April 16th, 2018 the official testing begins.
-The subject selection process is being finalized by Ms. Schevis, the counselor
-The faculty voted on waivers on Feb 13, 2018
-86% voted YES for 8 period and block schedule and this translates to more elective class choices for our students.
-The SIP waivers and SSRI secondary school reform supplements for additional duties passed by 92% and this allows principal to make decisions for discretionary funds for supplements such as GB manager etc.
-The Algebra night and the Fairchild challenge was a great success
The EESAC meeting that is scheduled for March 20, 2018 will be cancelled. We will meet again on April 24, 2018.
