1. Meeting was called to order and quorum was established.
2. Approved: Minutes from November 14, 2018 EESAC Meeting
3. Welcome to third EESAC meeting of the 18-19 school year.
4. Updates by Principal
a. Plan to conduct FSA and SAT Parent Workshops for grades K-5 lead by school Principal, Assistant Principal, teachers and counselor throughout the month of February and March.
i. At these meeting district (mid-year) and state mandated exams (mid-year) results, iReady and in-house exam results will be discussed
b. After school tutoring resumed in January and is taking place for grades 3-5 through May 2019.
c. Mater Academy East has received a 2019 National Blue Ribbon Schools Nomination
d. Mater INC 20th Year Anniversary Gala on February 1st
e. Second Nine Weeks Principal’s Honor Roll Breakfast: February 22nd
i. Students on the Honor Roll will be invited with two guests to have breakfast with the Principal and administrators and will be recognized with an award.
f. Book Fair: Week of Feb 1st through Feb 8th
i. Parent Night on Feb 6th at 4:30 PM
g. FSA Pep Rally will take place on March 22, 2019.
i. Approved: Final schedule of events
ii. Approved: Teachers with the highest percentage of level 5’s on FSA ELA and Math 2018 will receive reward bonus on day of pep rally.
h. Title I Chess Competition March 16th, 2019
i. SECME Competition took place on January 26th
j. Jump Rope for Heart Kick off February 11th
k. End of Year Show scheduled for May 2019
5. FSA Rewards Update
a. Funds have been received by Operating Company
b. Approved: Recognition award funds for being an “A” school for the 2017-2018. EESAC Committee came to a consensus; FSRP funds have been distributed amongst all current employees actively working at an Academica managed school at the time of disbursement.

i. SIP Mid-Year Review: The current SIP was reviewed by all EESAC members
