4.Welcome to first EESAC meeting of the 19-20 school year.
5.Updates by Principal
a.High Performing Charter School for 15th consecutive year.
b.Current Enrollment: 496 with a goal of 500 for the 19-20 school year.
c.Early Intervention Tutoring Program: for qualifying students in grades three through five (Start date TBA)
d.Hispanic Heritage Festival: TBA (October)

f.STEM Accreditation
g.Fence addition to secure building
h.MAE continues to partner with the following organizations for the 2019-2020 school year:

k.Lunch application Meetings were held on August 27th, 2019 to assist parents in filling out their lunch application forms. Flexible meetings were held throughout the day to accommodate all parents.
l.After school activities for the 2019-2020 school year: Cheerleading, FFEA, Chess, Cooking, Science Club, Art Club, Music Club, Basketball, Arts & Crafts, and Fitness Program for students.
6.Title I Funds
a.MAE was awarded: $254,200.00 for the 19-20 school year.
b.Committee reviewed the Title I budget for the 19-20 school year. Committee was in agreement that supplies funds would be used to purchase supplemental Reading and Math books.
c.Approved: Committee came to consensus that supplies funds will be used to purchase supplemental reading and math books.
d.Approved: Title I Budget was approved by all committee members
