2020-2021 Waivers to Labor Contact Provisions Signature Form
We have to submit the document by next week. We complete this document every year and we have to vote if we want to continue what is already in place. My request is to keep the grade level chairs because I feel they are effective for communication and to keep everyone informed. Grade level chairs represent their grade levels and bring forth any issues and/or ideas to administration on their part. -Mr. Lazo
What exactly does the waiver state? - Mrs. Thompson
That we do not change anything and that we continue to have grade level chairs.- Mr. Lazo
All those in favor? -Ms. Quintero
Quorum reached. All in favor.
Updates
iReady: An incentive program has been out in place so that students meet their minutes and pass rates each week. If they meet their minutes according to their tier level and meet the minimum requirements for passing rates of 67% for reading and 70% for math, they receive a bee buck and they get an opportunity to use their bee buck to buy something from the hive store. - Mr. Lazo
It makes life a lot easier in terms of monitoring their iReady progress because students have been motivated to win their bee buck, so they have been getting on iReady and meeting their pass rates. - Ms. Jerry
Math Topic Assessments: We have been on pacing with testing topic assessments across all grade levels and we use the data from those assessments to guide our DI groups. - Ms. Nazario
FSA Weekly Assessments: We use Performance Matters platform to analyze data to compare how our are students are doing in comparison to district data. We have also been on schedule according to the pacing guide. - Ms. Quintero
