Principal Updates:

Last week we completed testing for Algebra I EOC that were supposed to test last year. They were given the opportunity to take it to meet the High School requirement for graduation.
We had both physical and MSO students take the test. On Monday and Tuesday physical students tested and on Wednesday and Thursday MSO students tested.

There are approximately 125 students quarantined and about 15 teachers quarantined. We are accommodating the physical students having them go to the labs or media center.

We are starting the Magnet Application promotion. Information can be found at www.yourchoicemiami.org January 15 is the deadline to submit the application. We hope to persuade good students to come to Country Club next year. We will do a virtual tour of our school this year since we are not able to do it physically. In past years the neighboring elementary schools have come to the school to visit but we can not do it this year.
I am hoping for a better 2021, I am sure we all are.

SIP- School Improvement Plan
We uploaded the family parent engagement plan. On osi.dadeschools.net. There Mid Year assessments are quickly approaching. We will add the scores to the SIP and we will add any plans for intervention

Title 1 updates:

Most of the money was used to pay for teachers and extra period supplements. This year we have approximately one thousand ($1000) dollars, we will meet to see what incentives we can use the money for in the new year.

Student Updates:

Nevian Brooks – said a prayer for his teachers and wished all Happy Holidays.

Jordynn- Are MSO students going to come back in January? Mr. Crespo answered that the district will give parents the option to stay MSO for the remainder of the year if they decide to do so.

Parent Updates: Ms. Brooks, in regard to cameras and privacy for students being online. The students need to have their cameras on for attendance purposes. They may turn off the cameras afterwards. If the computer camera does not work, the parents should contact the school.

Ms. Evelyn Rodriguez

We were able to have a commencement ceremony to celebrate the graduates accomplishments. The Annual Christmas event will not happen this year.

New Business:
Election of a New teacher member for EESAC
We will conduct elections on our next faculty meeting after the holidays on January 5, 2021.
Ms. Dozier: In reference to the Algebra 1 testing, when will scores will be released. The score release date has not been given yet. Those students will test for Geometry this year.
