School Improvement Process (SIP)
We have completed the mid-year portion of this process. We used the info gained from the IR to complete it and it is now in route for approval. -Mr. Lazo

Updates
iReady: Tomorrow is the last day to complete the growth monitoring. Students who are Tier 2 and 3 according to iReady AP1 are taking the growth monitoring for both math and reading subjects. -Ms. Quintero

Professional Development In-house
Reading: Writing: 6 Week Writing Workshop Writing Framework: A Day-By-Day Guide
Math: 3-Read Protocol for Problem Solving

RtI/Leadership Team Reviews/Updates
Dr. Galceran is not here today, but everything is running smoothly. Some students have already been processed and others are still in motion. - Mr. Lazo

Open Forum/Discussion
School Operations: The federal dollars are being used for additional custodians and extended learning opportunities, such as Saturday Academy. – Mr. Lazo
Curriculum Issues
Reading interventionists began today, Ms. Montealegre. Ms. Bryant is now the full time kindergarten teacher. -Mr. Lazo

Budget Reviews/ Updates
We are currently rebuilding our technological infrastructure (computers). All teachers in grades K-2 will receive new student desktops. In addition, all office staff will also receive new desktops. Once we receive them, Mr. Snipes will switch them out and connect them. - Mr. Lazo

Title I
We just had our Title 1 parent meeting in the physical setting and it was amazing. We discussed mask opt-out policy and vaccines. Parent's questions were answered and technology concerns were met by Mr. Rodriguez, who assisted. We will be holding another technology workshop after Thanksgiving. - Ms. Rosario

New Business
Our staff elected two individuals that will gain sight in the region level, Ms. Nazario and Ms. Cotrina. We are very pleased with the sense of urgency the teachers demonstrated before the holiday break.
Also, data shows the support provided to teachers is working and teachers are doing what they are supposed to be doing.– Mr. Lazo
