Minutes Review:

· Minutes approved without any corrections.

Principal Updates:

· We had a Magnet Fair on January 13, 2022 that went really well; parents were impressed with the school and our teachers.
· We have almost 200 magnet applications for next school year.
· Mid-Year testing will continue through February.
· The end of the nine weeks is on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
· Science night with Miami-Dade College was postponed due to the rise in COVID cases.

Title 1 Updates:

· Title 1 funds were distributed to the core area departments to purchase supplies.

SIP Updates:

· The SIP team will meet on Friday January 21, 2022 to work on Phase 4.

Teacher Updates:

· Dr. Brinas: The magnet fair was a success due to the hard work Mr. Crespo put in to organize and promote it.
· Dr. Miyar: ESOL tutoring has started for ESOL students in levels 1 through 4.

Student Updates:

· No student updates.
