II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESCA Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 2:30pm on May 10, 2022, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA).

IV. Approval of Minutes from February 15, 2022
- Ms. Feiler made a motion to approve the minutes, and Mr. Taracido seconded the motion.
- Minutes from February 15, 2022 were approved unanimously.
V. School Improvement Plan 2021-2022
- The SIP is in its last phase. It was given to all departments for suggestions and will be finalized by June 8, 2022.
- Cultural and academic goals are based on data from 2020-2021. Academic reflections will be based on current mid-year data. We will continue to improve upon School Culture at ISPA.
- Ms. Delp made a motion to approve the 2021-2022 SIP once reflections have been completed, and Mr. Feiler seconded the motion.
- Motion was approved unanimously.
VI. EESAC Budget
- All funds allocated for student recognition activates was used, primarily buying food items to celebrate honor roll, academic, and attendance recognitions.
VII. End of Year Activities
- ISPA will once again have an in-person End-of-Year Awards ceremony. The ceremony will be held at Ponce De Leon Middle School on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
- Graduation will on June 1, 2022 at 10 AM. This year we return to the Adrienne Arsht Center Knight Concert Hall.
- On Saturday, May 21, 2022 ISPA will have a New Student Orientation for incoming ISPA students at 9:00 AM.
VIII. General Information
- 95% of Seniors have been accepted into a College or University.
- AP Testing is a little more than halfway done. Thus far, only one student has been absent.
- State testing is in its second week. We hope to be done by the end of next week.
- 80% of ninth grade students for next year have been accepted to ISPA.
- Admissions will run through the summer.
X. PTSA Update
- Currently running a raffle fundraiser. Two airline tickets to Spain were donated. Raffle tickets are being sold at $25 per ticket or a package for various amounts of tickets can be purchased. The raffle will end of May 20, 2022. PTSA will receive 100% profit.
- June 4, 2022 PTSA will hold a Bazaar in the parking lot. So far they have 24 vendors secured for the event.
- PTSA Senior Scholarship deadline is this Friday, May 13, 2022. The recipient will receive either $1000 or $500.

- There is no new business at this time.
XII. Adjournment
- Ms. Feiler moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms. Ledo seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:30pm.
