Minutes Review:
· Minutes of April 2022 approved with corrections.
Principal Updates:
· National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony will be taking place tomorrow at 5:30 PM.
Title 1 Updates:
· There is a Parent and Family Engagement Plan that can be found on the school website. This provides feedback from the parents, which will be used in Synergy.
· We will be purchasing additional computers and placing them in the classrooms of core-area teachers.
SIP Updates:
· There are a few surveys that can be found on the CCMS school website for both students and parents.
· There has been an increase in students who are on grade-level based on the i-Ready diagnostics in Reading.
Teacher Updates:
· Ms. Cannon: I would to see grade/team-level shirts.
· Mr. Ahmed:
• We can try to do this as team shirts for next year and then potentially introduce it as part of the uniform for the following year.
• Dismissal will be at 2:40 on the last three days at school. Students will not be allowed to bring backpacks on those days.
• We will be hosting summer school this year. Summer school will be for course recovery but we will be having summer camps as well that are part of Summer 305 and a camp with Federation of Families.
· Dr. Miyar:
• We had several events such as Prom, Gradventure, a Spring dance, and an honor roll ceremony.
• Thank you to Nevian and Ms. Brooks for serving on EESAC.
