Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 3:20 p.m. by Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard, Principal.

In Attendance: Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard, Dr. Angela Gayden, Ms. Constance Gilbert, Pastor David Perez, Dr. Sharon Pottinger, and Mrs. Mildreca Robinson.

Non-Members present: Ms. Nuris Binett , Mrs. Aretha Graham-Caley, Ms. Lisa Morrison-Milton, and Ms. Jennifer Raynor.

No Quorum was established during this meeting to vote on any actionable items.
Per school board policy, all EESAC members must be physically present for EESAC meetings.

Welcome/Mindful Moments/Introductions
Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard welcomed all attendees. Ms. Gilbert conducted member roll call.

Old Business
Minutes from the May 18, 2022, meeting was reviewed collectively.
Minutes approval tabled until next EEESAC meeting due to no quorum established during this meeting.

New Business
Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard reviewed the 2022-2023 School Improvement Process-Phase 1 Focus Areas.
2022-2023
•ELA Goals: 50% Proficient Math Goals: 50% Proficient Attendance Goal: 100% Tested

•Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition (SAMR) will be used this year which is Technology Infusion in Lessons to educate our students with skills to apply by getting them ready for the job market.

•Develop Relationships with Community Partners to strengthen those and increase involvement and have them visit and do more with our school this year.

Title 1
Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard discussed and reviewed, on behalf of Mrs. Morning, the Title 1 information as follows:
a.Title 1 Funds - We are a Title 1 school, and the funds are disbursed as follows: Most of these funds go towards teachers’ salaries.
b.Schoolwide Funds of $1721.00 are used for our school resources.
c.Parent & Family Engagement funds of $171.00 are used for Parent Outreach and resources.

Title 1 DAC/PAC Representatives – Two (2) parent representatives will represent us at DAC/PAC meetings.
Copies of The Parent & Family Engagement Plan were distributed at this meeting.

EESAC Funds/Financial Matters
Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard shared the EESAC committee at the next meeting with a quorum will need to make an internal funds request to move monies from the EESAC General Ledger to the Internal Funds so that the principal can spend the monies. The request must be in the EESAC minutes and documented.
The EESAC Funding Proposal Forms were distributed at this meeting and are available on Padlet. Proposal requests are submitted via EESAC members.


New order of Business for the 2022-2023 school year
Mrs. Tammy S. Edouard shared school theme this year is: Metamorphosis: Fifty & Fabulous and school is celebrating its fiftieth year of service.
a. We have a Commendable Rating this year
b. Attendance Improved so far this year
c. Testing Calendar has been disseminated, district updates are forthcoming

Mrs. Edouard thanked Pastor Perez and 3W Church for their immeasurable support of our school.

Ms. Binett shared out the Family & Consumer Sciences-Ladies Going Green Students won 2nd place in the Dream in Green Challenge and a student was awarded The Game Changer Award. The Innovation and Education Award was presented to Dr. Jenkins and Honorable Mention to Mrs. Poole.
