Minutes Review:
*A nomination was requested by Dr. Miyar to replace Mr. Ahmed for EESAC secretary and the New EESAC Secretary was nominated as - Mrs. Perez-Castillo
*Everyone agreed for Mrs. Perez-Castillo to be the new EESAC secretary.
*Meeting minutes for January were approved with no corrections.
MOTIONS:
*Waivers (Voting)- Faculty meeting was held on 2/28/23 to vote on the SIP/Alternate supplement model waivers (Example: Supervision before and afterschool for special needs students, Data manager, EESAC Chair and etc..)
The results were as follows:
*Block Schedule voting or Traditional Scheduling (Teachers voted)
* 8 period day 82%
*Block schedule 85%
*Alternate Supplement Model 100%
*Mrs. Espinoza Motioned to approve the waivers
and it was seconded by Mr. Sweeting. Motion carries unanimously
A proposal was brought up to EESAC by the Math Coach Ms. Borges requesting calculators- TI30XA $12.00 (approx price) for all the students
- Quantity needed : 3 or 4 more sets (about 150 calculators)
- Estimated about $1000
A Motion to approve the purchase of the calculators was made by Mrs. Espinosa and seconded by Ms. Albert. Everyone was in agreement and motioned passed unanimously for the purchase of calculators for the math dept.

* Black pants is becoming an issue. Students are not using appropriate pants.
* Principal will do a connect Ed about proper uniforms.
* Mr. Sweeting asked when will 8th grade shirts be in.
