II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESCA Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 2:30pm on May 9, 2023, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA).

IV. Approval of Minutes from February 22, 2023
- Mr. Taracido made a motion to approve the minutes, and Mr. Feiler seconded the motion.
- Minutes from February 22, 2023, were approved unanimously.

V. School Improvement Plan 2022-2023
- The SIP is in its last phase. It was given to all departments for suggestions and will be finalized by June 2, 2023.
- Cultural and academic goals are based on data from 2021-2022. Academic reflections will be based on current mid-year data. We will continue to improve upon School Culture at ISPA.
- Ms. Alamo made a motion to approve the 2022-2023 SIP once reflections have been completed, and Ms. Ledo seconded the motion.
- Motion was approved unanimously.

VI. EESAC Budget
- All funds allocated for student recognition activates was used, primarily buying food items to celebrate honor roll, academic, and attendance recognitions.

VII. End of Year Activities
- ISPA’s End of Year Awards Ceremony will be on May 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM. This year we return to the UM Donna E. Shalala Student Center.
- Graduation will be at the Adrienne Arsht Center Knight Concert Hall on June 5, 2023, at 7 PM.
- On Saturday, May 20, 2023, ISPA will have a New Student Orientation for incoming ISPA students at 9:00 AM.

VIII. General Information
- Ms. Harrison spoke about how success the ISPA Internship program has been for her architectural firm.

X. PTSA Update
- PTSA is sponsoring a field trip to Urban Air for those students who participated in Saturday tutoring.

XI. New Business
- There is no new business at this time.

XII. Adjournment
- Ms. Ledo moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Feiler seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:30pm.
